Where can I report a pothole?
If you notice a pothole in your neighbourhood, it's very important that you report it to 311 immediately. The City of Ottawa will only repair potholes they are aware of, so reporting them is key! You can call 311 directly, or if you'd like to avoid long wait times online, you can try the online portal found here.
How do I file a damage claim to the city?
Accidents happen. Unfortunately, you may find that the City of Ottawa has somehow damaged your property (car, home, you, etc). You can file a claim through the City of Ottawa here. Please reach out to our office if you need any further assistance. Please note that we cannot expedite the claims process. Due to inclement weather, the City of Ottawa has experienced more claims than usual, your patience is appreciated.

I have a concern with people speeding in my neighbourhood - What do i do?
Speeding cars in your neighbourhood could pose a huge threat to pedestrians, particularly children and the elderly. If you notice that cars are regularly speeding in your neighbourhood, please immediately report the issue to Ottawa Police on their community line at (613) 236-1222 extension 7300, or visit their website here. DO NOT call 911 unless there is an immediate threat or emergency.

I think there may be an illegal rooming house in my neighbourhood - How can I report it?
Illegal rooming houses are becoming a huge issue in the city. By definition, “rooming house” means a residential unit, ther than a group home, retirement home or converted retirement home, that: (i) is not used or intended for use as a residential premises by a household; or
(ii) is intended for use as a residential preises by a household and more than three
Roomers or boarders; or
(iii) contains more than eight bedrooms;
