What is the risk that bullets will ricochet in a different direction than the direction the gun is pointed?

Would the Ottawa Police Service membership support the joint application from Chief Charles Bordeleau and in conjunction with the Police Services Board submit a communication to the commissioner of the OPP and OCAP for the designation of OCH security Staff to be allowed to receive the proper training and mandate under the Special Constable Status in the Province of Ontario. With Toronto Public housing Security Officers already having this designation for their Officers would you support it for OCH front line Security Officers to help ease the resourcing of your front line officers if the OCH security had these additional powers.
